Garden Design in Ziteč: A Harmonious Blend of Garden Styles

We had the pleasure of designing a unique garden for a traditional South Bohemian country house in Ziteč, which serves as a holiday home for a passionate botanist. The client had very specific requirements, with a vision of combining multiple garden styles to create a space that would both showcase and nurture a variety of plants. At the heart of the design is a beautiful Mediterranean-style garden, centered around a swimming pool and pool house with an outdoor kitchen, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and entertaining. Adjacent to this is an English-style greenhouse, ideal for overwintering exotic and tender ornamental plants. A Scandinavian-inspired area, complete with a wooden log house and a cosy firepit, offers a tranquil retreat. Each distinct zone in the garden allows for the cultivation and display of different plant varieties, bringing together the client's diverse horticultural interests into a cohesive, functional, and visually stunning outdoor space.
